Conservative Community Organizers send buses filled with supporters to rally for Trump in DC today

Related

For many Trump supporters this election is not over yet. They are hoping for procedural maneuvers in the Congress today to throw the Presidential race open again. The possibility of that is almost zero. Nonetheless, millions flock to show their support for the man who refuses to play by Washington rules and doesn’t know the word quit.

Several news outlets are pushing the ‘proud boys’ angle as if a few hundred people mixed among a million should define what is happening. Wolf Daily News caught up with Ashley Weiss who along with her partner Reggie “Skyrock” Little are organizing busses from Maryland to DC to show support for the President. Thousands of such groups of conservative community organizers have popped around the country and the question remains what role if any will they play in politics moving forward.

We sat down with Ashley to discuss her motivations for getting involved in politics on behalf of President Trump.

Wolf Daily:
Hi, Ashley, we are pleased to have you with us today.

Ashley:
Nice to be here.

Wolf Daily:
I was looking forward to hearing more about your endeavored. I understand you have now 14 buses and still growing to go from Maryland to DC for the rally on the sixth? Is that correct?

Ashley:
Yes. we do. That is correct.

Wolf Daily:
That’s very exciting. You and your partner Reggie have undertaken this together. And from what we’ve heard, this is your third trip. Is that right?

Ashley:
That’s correct.

Wolf Daily:
That’s terrific. Tell us how you’ve been able to attract so many people to join with you in this. Are these all people you knew before?

Ashley:
So, we originally started by word of mouth, getting it out on social media pages such as Facebook, Mewe and, you know, those people shared to other people and it became big. Our first DC trip that we did, we struggle to get one coach bus bill. And now here we are on our third DC trip that we’re sponsoring. And we’re on to the 14th coach bus as of today.

Wolf Daily:
That’s exciting. It sounds like from what you’re telling me, these are large buses. So, it sounds like you’ve managed to recruit over 700 people to go with you on this adventure. Are you concerned at all about what will happen when you get there?

Ashley:
I’m not. Seeing as this is our third trip, we know to stay in large groups and we also know to leave DC before sunset.

Wolf Daily:
Okay, and so as a group and you as an individual, what do you hope to accomplish by being there? What is the statement you’re trying to make and to whom?

Ashley:
We want the truth. We want to drain the swamp. We want the truth. And there are over 75 million Americans that finally see the truth. And we’re not backing down until we get it.

Wolf Daily:
Now you hear a lot of stories in the media, Ashley, that the people that support Trump are racists, and that they’re unstable, and that they don’t see the truth. Is that what you think of the people that are going with you? Is that what people think of you.

Ashley:
Absolutely not. We all stick together no matter the color of our skin.

Wolf Daily:
Tell us about the racial makeup of your group. Is it all white people or will there be other people?

Ashley:
It’s not. We have Latinos for Trump, we have blacks for Trump, we have you know, people of all races in our group of 14 coach buses going to DC on Wednesday. We don’t put labels on the color of your skin. We support anyone no matter the color.

Wolf Daily:
That’s great. And you have men and women going as well?

Ashley:
Absolutely.

Wolf Daily:
And people of all ages? What do you think the age ranges of your group?

Ashley:
Probably between 20s up to, we’ve had some late 70s.

Wolf Daily:
Wow.

Ashley:
Oh, yeah.

Wolf Daily:
That’s very exciting. When you get there, do you have signs? Do you have banners? Do you have T shirts?

Ashley:
Some would bring flags; some people would bring signs. It all depends you know what they choose to bring. They are able to bring flags or signs. We don’t drive into DC and unload the buses to create violence. We’re going there to show, look we all stand behind Trump and we want the truth. And we make sure to keep it peaceful. We make sure that when you know, when it’s all said and done, we leave DC with it clean.

Wolf Daily:
What do you think of the news stories, particularly this weekend, there have been stories on NBC, discussions with some Republican politicians like Mitt Romney, saying that anybody who doesn’t believe that the election was fair and questions the legitimacy of Joe Biden, is harming the democracy. What do you say to that?

Ashley:
What can I say other than it’s clear that what their agenda is. They’re all trying to convince the people that there is no fraud, there is no fraud at all, which is not true. I mean, obviously, the fraud hasn’t been completely put out there yet, which is completely understandable. You know, you shouldn’t put all of your so to say proof out there, for everyone to see, to try to switch it up or change something up. You’ve got to keep something hidden, which I believe us going January the sixth, Trump has a plan. He’s had a plan the entire time. And just like he said, drain the swamp. That’s what he’s trying to do.

Wolf Daily:
So, this will be the big reveal in other words.

Ashley:
Absolutely.

Wolf Daily:
If this adventure you’re embarking on, if this does not result in, if this does not result in the outcome that you are hoping for, what does that mean for the country? What does it mean for you and the people that are going with you?

Ashley:
It means that pretty much we are not going to stop fighting. We know the truth. We know. I mean, they can say you know, all these stories about how horrible Trump is, and you know how we’re all racist and we create problems. All I can say to that is find out for yourself, come out and see the truth for yourself. Otherwise, you’re going to continue to get lied to and played by the left.

Wolf Daily:
Okay, now Reggie, who’s your partner in this endeavor, he’s an African American. What’s it like for him being a Trump supporter?

Ashley:
It’s very hard. It’s very, very hard.

Wolf Daily:
Is he a white supremacist? Just curious.

Ashley:
He is not.

Wolf Daily:
Okay. And does he get the sense, or does he know other African Americans that support the president, but are afraid to say so?

Ashley:
My partner, Reggie, he has actually said many times that there are a lot more African Americans out here who actually do in fact support our President Trump. But they are afraid to come out and say it because, you know, threats or harassment and everything else that comes from the left. So, they just don’t say anything.

Wolf Daily:
Have you or Reggie been assaulted or had your property damaged as a result of showing support for Trump?

Ashley:
Yes, we have. I’ve actually had my back car window busted completely out. I had a Trump flag flying on my car and drove to the grocery store. I was in there, maybe 15 minutes, I came out and my entire back windshield was busted and my flag had been removed and was taken.

Wolf Daily:
Wow, it’s not easy to stand up for your beliefs when you’re being threatened.

Ashley:
It’s really not. Right.

Wolf Daily:
Now, I understand that you moved from Charleston, which was a city that was more republican and now you’re based out of Maryland, where your buses are embarking from. And what’s it like going from a republican town to a democrat stronghold?

Ashley:
It’s a lot different. It’s a lot harder, just because it’s almost like, you have to watch what you do. You have to watch what you say. Because if you’re a Trump supporter, it’s almost like you’re going against everything. You’re threatened, you’re harassed, you’re bullied. I’ve had death threats on my social media accounts from people just because I am a Trump supporter, telling me they you know, they wish the buses would, you know, go off of a mountain. I don’t deserve to live, all kinds of crazy stuff.

Wolf Daily:
Well, we think it’s a very interesting time in our country. It’s a scary time in our country. There seems to be a tolerance for one type of discourse and not another and we know that what you’re doing now takes a certain amount of personal courage and puts a target on you. We wish you a safe trip. We wish you good luck.
